How to Get Duplicate SSC/HSC Marksheet or Certificate Maharashtra Board Online (Step-by-Step + Pratidnya Patra + Timeline
📌 Introduction
If you have lost your SSC /HSC marksheet or certificate, don’t worry. I recently went through the complete process of applying for a duplicate SSC/HSC marksheet, and I’m sharing everything here to help others avoid confusion.
---
🔄 Old Process vs New Process
Earlier, the process required a school letter—you had to visit your school, get the letter issued, and then after receiving the duplicate certificate/marksheet you have to obtain a signature and stamp (on backside) from the school or college.
However, the process has now been updated. You no longer need to visit your school or college to apply for a duplicate marksheet or certificate. There is **no requirement for a school letter, stamp, or signature** anymore.

Using Adobe Fill & Sign eliminates the need for physical work (printing on A4 paper, filling the form by hand, and scanning it afterward).
You just need to download the blank form, fill in your details, and insert your signature. Then select the “Print” option and choose “Save as PDF.” You can use this filled PDF for uploading.
So, no printing or scanning is required, and the process becomes much easier.
And i filled my undertaking form in this way and they accepted it.
Ensure to cross (cancel) the option that does NOT match your gender:
Male:
Keep श्री, cross श्रीमती
Keep विद्यार्थी, cross विद्यार्थिनी
Keep देतो, cross देते
Female:
Keep श्रीमती, cross श्री
Keep विद्यार्थिनी, cross विद्यार्थी
Keep देते, cross देतो

I recommend taking a photo of your signature and inserting it instead of drawing it, because this automatically blurs the background and keeps the signature clear.

⚠️ Common Issues & Solutions
* Payment processing is taking long time (more than 5 min) ->.
Wait for 5 minutes, if it's still processing, Open duplicate tab and then in this tab refresh or go back to home page or go to your desired ssc board dashboard or hsc board dashboard, see at bottom you will get application status:- if it's paid and submitted, you will get view , click on view , you will get receipt page , at bottom click download pdf
If it's still not showing wait for 1 day , then check application status
If after waiting 1 day , still not showing application status, then contact board helpline desk.
* Status stuck → Wait for 1–2 days more (normal delay)
* Wrong delivery location while tracking in Dak sewa app → Usually updated correctly during final delivery, this happened with me as I stay in south Mumbai, but in tracking it was showing as somewhere far karjat , it showed like this - vashi- thane-panvel-karjat - and some nearby karjat village , but when delivered , i received correctly to my address

## 💡 Tips (Based on My Experience)
* Keep scanned documents ready
* Double-check all details before submitting
* Don’t panic if status takes time to update
* Track your delivery using India Post
* Sometimes delivery may take time between 20 to 25 days , may be due to load or some other issues, but I recommend you all to stick with Pratidnya patra given by board on it's website for smoother process and faster delivery, i don't know but I used that format, and I got on time , don't know some others are getting late May be due to Written Undertaking Letter, as different people have different hand writing, so I recommend you all to used Adobe fill and Sign while filling the undertaking form , you can fill your details in English language in undertaking form , but keep the same marathi format.
